Asylum Research & Global Assistance has been registered within the United Nations system and has joined the UN Global Compact as a participant, reaffirming its commitment to international standards in human rights, transparency and sustainable development.
Asylum Research & Global Assistance (ARGA) announces two significant steps in the development of its international institutional activities.
The organisation has been registered within the United Nations system — UN Secretariat Registration ID: 1232417 — and has joined the United Nations Global Compact as a participant — UN Global Compact Participant ID: 213173.
The United Nations Global Compact is the world's largest corporate responsibility initiative, bringing together organisations that support ten universal principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption.
By joining these initiatives, ARGA reaffirms its commitment to advancing human rights, ethical governance, transparency, non-discrimination, anti-corruption, sustainable development and responsible institutional practices.
As part of this work, ARGA has aligned its internal policies with internationally recognised standards. The relevant documents — the human rights, gender equality and non-discrimination policy, the corporate responsibility principles in accordance with the UN Global Compact, the environmental policy and the corporate policy in accordance with the UN 2030 Agenda — are published in the International Standards section.
This registration and participation strengthen the institutional foundation of ARGA's work in international legal protection, analysis and research.
Supporting documents and the full list of policies are available in the International Standards section.
